Yours truly turned another decade older (& wiser?), we had a great time celebrating with a delicious dinner at Bone Fish Grill. Later we celebrated with caramel apple pie and the opening of gifts. Michelle got me (us) and awesome GPS tracking device that we can use in our cars to help navigate the open roads. We wrapped up by lighting Channukah lights, which started on Tuesday. All in all a nice evening ...

Visiting guests ...
We were very excited to meet & greet Beth, who's in town visiting our future "addition" to the family :-) We got some more white stuff later that evening after doing some food shopping, she & Michelle have had a very relaxing week shopping and staying at home. Ginger gets into the act with her red devlish eyes ...

Happy Thanksgiving!
We were greeted with our first snowfall on Thanksgiving day. Not much precipitation, maybe an inch or two. But it was nice to see some white stuff. Only pics of food to share, we were guests at a friend's house from work and ate all sorts of delicacies. Kudos to Michelle for making a delicious salmon and stuffing entree!

Botsford Autumn Gala
Saturday night Michelle & I were guests of attending physicians at this annual hospital fundraising event. Money raised will go towards construction of the new Botsford Cancer Center, starting in 2008. It was held at the beautifulTam O'Shanter Country Club in West Bloomfield. Several faculty and executives were in attendance, black tie and all. Lot of interesting items were auctioned off during the cocktail, including this one puppy that was pooped out by the end (I lost on a bid for two Lions Thanksgiving Day football tickets). Lots of

great food & wine, overall nice to see everyone dressed up with their significant others!

City of Brotherly Love
A homecoming of sorts for yours truly. I attend the annual ACG Conference in Philadelphia from the 12th through the 16th, as Michelle stayed behind dog-sitting Ginger. It was a nice chance to re-visit the city where we attended medical school and lived for 4 years. Friday night was quality catchup time with Joby, who'll be a full-fledged Emed attending next year. Unfortunately Jaicy and his 2-year old son Joel were unavailable:
Saturday and Sundy was the post-grad course and hence bulk of the conference. But that didn't mean the boys couldnt' still have fun. Jon and Steve arrived from DC & NYC, respectively as we met up for the night, enjoying a fancy dinner at the Ritz Carlton Hotel and drinks later on ...
The rest of the time was spent with my mom who drove down from LI. We had some fabulous dinners in Center City and enjoyed the sites of the campus,Kelly Drive, and art museum.
I'm not sure the next time I'll make it back to Philly, or if we'll be present for our 5-year reunion next June. So it was a nice opportunity to take advantage and see some familiar sights/faces.
Overall a fabulous trip!!

Eastern Market
Fun weekend activity was visiting Eastern Market last weekend. It is an amazing open air market in the middle of Detroit. I don't think it compares at all to the Mustang Flea Market in Florida but it is a nice addition to the Detroit scene. The fruits and veggies are all those locally grown. A particular abundance of corn and apples.

Wedding #2
Not to be forgotten was our 2nd wedding and reunion of sorts for yours truly. Jason Demby & Jacqueline Rosenthal were married at a beautiful ceremony in Springfield, NJ. It marked the first time since graduation (1999) that all 12 Lambda brothers were present at the same time (will it be the last?). We had a great time, and wish the newlyweds all the best ...

New York: Part Deux
Michelle & I made our 2nd trip back to NY in 2 months. Besides another getaway to see family, it was a chance to attend two weddings in the same week one being that of Joey Small (Michelle's cousin) and the other my friend from Cornell, Jason Demby.

We landed in NY on Sunday morning, and went straight to NJ to catch up with the Gali's, who we haven't seen since Nicole's wedding last June. Their new kitchen looks amazing, and everyone else seems to be doing well, including Cinnamon ... Maria Estella's dog.

With no time to spare, we drove up to Pearl River, NY the following day to check in for Joey & Dana's wedding. Quite a production, to say the least! Over 400 people in attendance, the couple seemed very happy in celebration. It was great seeing Michelle's family from LA & Las Vegas.
We wish the newlyweds lots of Mazel and good things to come:
The rest of the week was busy socializing with various friends of the family in the greater New York area: Long Island, Connecticut, etc. We also went into NYC to have lunch in Midtown, following which we had a relaxing time in Central Park. Here are some random pics of our travels ...
